Power House Stables was founded by Katherine Power with one simple belief: some of life's most meaningful moments happen from the back of a horse.

A Loudoun County native, Katherine has spent nearly her entire life in the saddle. From her elementary school years riding the trails and farms of Northern Virginia to competing at the renowned Morven Park and participating in the historic Upperville Horse Show year after year, horses have always been more than a hobby, they've been home.

Today, that tradition continues with the next generation. Katherine's daughter now competes in horse shows of her own, carrying forward a passion for horsemanship, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.

As a mother, horsewoman, and lifelong Virginian, Katherine created Power House Stables to give others the opportunity to experience the same connection she has found through horses. Whether it's a couple celebrating an anniversary, friends exploring Virginia wine country, a family making memories together, or someone climbing into the saddle for the very first time, every ride is thoughtfully designed to create lasting moments.

There is an old saying in the equestrian world: "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a person." Katherine has found that to be true throughout her life. Horses have a remarkable way of slowing us down, bringing us into the present, and reminding us to appreciate the beauty around us.

Katherine takes great pride in introducing guests to the rolling hills, quiet trails, and breathtaking landscapes she has loved since childhood. Her hope is that every visitor leaves with more than beautiful photographs, they leave with a story they'll tell for years to come.
